SotR: My car got towed yesterday, thanks to my own laziness and inattentiveness. Dealing with that is going to be a time consuming expensive lesson. However, I can and will do it. If the Gods crapped on me, well I helped by jumping in the line of fire. Elders do not let shit like this happen to them, when it happens you fix it and move on without pissing and moaning about how unfair it is.
"If not me, who? If not now, Gwen?" -- I've met someone really really nifty the other day. How did that happen? Almost by accident is the most honest answer. Lets just say that the guy who invented hyperlinks should be deified. She's about my age, Pagan, intelligent, nominally sane, high-functioning, at least as geeky as me, Internet-savvy, plays WoW rather than merely tolerates it, a sf fan, a filker, and best if all -- available and interested. That's a rare combination. It's early days still, but I have not stepped on any landmines yet.
