WotLK goes LIVE today . . .

. . . and my copy's just a couple of hours away.

Decisions, decisions: Do I start a new Death Knight now (and watch my video frame rate go into negatives with the hundreds of newly minted DKs overrunning the starting zone . . .)? or head to Northend with my main and start to level to 80 (ditto on the frame rate in Borean Tundra or Howling Fjord)? Level up aforementioned main in Outland doing daily quests (basically what I've been doing pre-expansion)?

Back when TBC launched early last year, the new race starting areas -- especially the blood elf one -- was overrun, at least that first day. Hellfire Peninsula, the Outland starting zone in TBC was buried in level 58-60s looking to level to 70, or so I was told. I had no toon at that level then.

One thing's certain. I *am* starting a new DK character; my beta DK was too damned much fun to NOT play one now that the expansion pack is live. Weather my DK becomes a main or remains an alt is an issue for another day. I'll refrain from umlauts in the name this time. Umlauts are a pain to type.
