Western Skillet: green peppers, red peppers, onions, potatoes, garlic, 1 lb ham, all chopped / sliced / cubed. Spices: Chile powder, celery salt, sage.
I'm getting better at this. The manual skills of chopping / slicing food are slowly working up. Jameece always has helpful suggestions for me when we re cooking together.

Knife skills are entirely a skill that you can only get by practicing. There's no gimmick to it, it's just a question of practicing until you are good at it.
I can see that in the way you (and she) cut veggies . . . Perhaps this is the "hidden" life-lesson in this experience applicable to my other, underdeveloped, manual skills.
